The way you find your way at sea is very different from land and air navigation.

GPS for Mariners is a modern learning experience that focuses on the GPS equipment typically owned by the recreational boater.

A charge of $40.00 will cover tuition and lunch.

• Satellite Screen
• Highway screen
• Compass Screen
• Map Screen
• Route Planning: Pre Qualifying legs
• Avoidance and Landmarks
• Crosstrack error and staying on the safe path
• Alarms
• Interaction with other equipment: Radar, VHF, Depth Sounder, Autopilot.
• Mounting and Networking considerations.
